Former Chicagoan, Matt was successfully transplanted to the Atlanta area in 1995.
Enjoying retirement since 2000, he has earnestly pursued his love of photography.
A self-taught photographer he has continually strived to improve his work by attending
photography and printing workshops.
He still works in his traditional “analogue” darkroom and has incorporated digital
processing tools into his workflow.
His work has been shown in several juried exhibits. He was part of three-person show
presented by the Arizona State University Libraries in Phoenix.
The underwater photographs presented in this “Small Works” exhibition were made
on 35mm transparency film. The images were scanned and are printed here for the
first time.
