Jessica Brewer Prugh (b. 1982 Houston, Texas) is a photographer best known for her work traveling and photographing the Midwest and Southern United States. She lives in Grayslake, Illinois. Jessica discovered the treasure that is photography through her family photos of her earliest years in Texas, years which she has largely forgotten. She found her love for taking pictures in 1997, during a brief in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin where she took a black and white photography class in high school. Her work explores themes of nostalgia and wanderlust. Jessica has published two zines of her work, A View of the Lincoln Highway through Illinois, and Highway Hypnosis. Jessica is a member of Perspective Gallery in Evanston, Illinois.
