Dorie Hagler is an award-winning documentary photographer and social justice activist who uses her camera as tool for social change.

She is also the founder of @me&EVE a gender justice platform providing everday women an opportunity to be witnessed.

During the 2020 pandemic Hagler spend 3 months living with her children at her Mother’s house.

Her conceptual series, “My Mother’s Closet” is a departure from documentary work and was inspired during the Covid 19 pandemic  when she quarantined at her mother’s house – sleeping in her old twin bed next to a closet filled with oddities and talismans from her past.
