Lisa Sibley is a lens-based Florida artist exploring identity and nostalgia through objects of vernacular family photographs and self-portraiture. Sometimes playful, often contemplative, intimate and emotive; she investigates methods of discovering identity through memory, place, time, and finding the Other-self within; linking identity to the past and through the future.

Her work is intended to encourage the viewer to reflect and remember their own stories while reacquainting with their inner child; remembering to bring her or him along for the rest of the journey.

She is a MFA graduate from Lesley University College of Art and Design, Cambridge, MA and Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, FL.

You will find her serendipitously traipsing through landscapes, kayaking in search of abstract imagery and being RaRa to four fabulous humans.
