A plant with impressive flowers, garden decoration. Iris germanica is the name for a species of flowering plants in the family Iridaceae commonly known as the German bearded iris.

Irys is more than a flower—it is a symbol of my childhood. In the garden of my home in Ukraine, I once grew over fifty different varieties of irises, each with its own character and shade. This photograph captures not only the delicate beauty of the bloom, but also the dance of light and shadow on the wall of my house—a moment that instantly brings me back to the warmth of my home and the serenity of my garden. It is a quiet memory preserved in sunlight.
