BIO- My work is driven by a strong commitment to truth, dignity, and the power of visual storytelling. I search for moments of grace, beauty, vulnerability, resilience, and authenticity, offering a window into the worlds that deserve to be seen and understood. My work aims to challenge perceptions, evoke empathy, and inspire action. Each image is a testament to the human spirit – an invitation to witness, reflect, and engage. Charlotte on the steps of the church with her siblings, was wonderful to see. When she was four, her father took his life, and in some Irish Traveller families, they follow a rule that requires the parents of the father to take care of their son’s first daughter, to care and protect her. So Charlotte doesn’t live with her siblings. She was happy to celebrate with them.
The Irish travellers are devout Christians, and this was a very special day for Charlotte. She was made to feel like a princess.
