Daniel Hartmann is a Nashville, Tennessee based photographer. Hartmann grew up in coastal Virginia, where he developed an early appreciation of the human experience. Hartmann draws from both his shoreline upbringing and his current Southern surroundings to create imagery that focuses on the rhythms of childhood and the intimate spaces where family life unfolds. In scenes of play, children move with a kind of unguarded wonder.
