Statement  – I visited a photo friend in southern California coming off a lovely workshop with Michael A. Smith and Paula Chamlee in Arizona. My friend took me to the highest point in San Diego county. I walked to the point dodging cacti and where I pointed my camera, I was not happy. I turned my 8 by 10 inch camera 180 degrees and saw the spiritual feelings emanating from the rocks. My friend was very upset because he has lived there for many years and never once saw it the way I did. Every time I look at this, I feel peace and hope for the tumultuous worlds we inhabit now. Soon after I photographed these lovely spires, I found it the county sold it to become a nudist colony. I hope they wear boots.
