Tony Mischel lives and works in Venice, California where he focuses part of his life on creating two dimensional images. He travels in both the United States and in Southeast Asia; and he often photographs the lives of inhabitants above and below water, often focusing on the structures they create for their lives.
I made this picture after seeing the call for this show. Being a southern Calfironia native, Christmas lawn decorations are the most ubiquitous image of winter.
