Bev has been a photographer since 1992 when she first moved to Hong Kong for work in the publishing sector of the investment banking world. Upon returning to her home in Arizona in 1999 she switched gears to work full time as a fine art photographer. Here she began to photograph what she loved most, horses and nature, with a concentration on photographing wild horses in the American West.
Bev has developed an art style that evokes emotion and a unique connection to each of her equine portraits.
Her work has received numerous awards including Honorable Mention in the 2017 Siena International Photo Awards (SIPA) and First Place in the PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA), IRMA Awards for Portraiture, Moscow International Foto Awards (MIFA), One Eyeland, Black & White Magazine, amongst others.
