Donna Dangott received her BFA in photography from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN in 1988. She migrated away from her career as an illustrator and photographer into a rewarding 30 year career in healthcare. Since retirement from that career in 2019 she has returned to her creative art career and works from her home studio in College Station, TX. Her work spans traditional as well as non-traditional photographic image making, and sometimes also incorporates mixed media techniques. The subject matter often explores the remote or rural landscape and other studies of our natural world. However, there is also a significant body of work that is more conceptual and blends elements of our external natural world with our internal realm of memories, dreams, personal history, fantasies, and fears. Donna maintains a very robust exhibition schedule around the country. Her work is displayed in many private, public and institutional collections.
