Lee Anne White is a fine art photographer whose work is rooted in the landscape. She creates intimate portraits of place—the terrain, flora and vernacular architecture that give a landscape character. She reveals both the unexpected and overlooked, and is drawn by a sense of mystery and an emotional connection to place—especially as it relates to the history of the land. Lee Anne teaches destination workshops for Maine Media Workshops and the Madeline Island School of the Arts. She is a graduate of Brenau University, earned a master’s degree in Creative Studies at the State University of New York/Buffalo State College and lives in Gainesville, Georgia.
