Margo, a.k.a. The Barefoot Contessa, got her first camera at age eight and has been photographing and traveling with a passion ever since. Starting as a location and stock photographer for travel, outdoor, advertising, and corporate clients in the early 80s, she has given numerous photo workshops and lectures. Her work has appeared in a plethora of calendars, coffee-table books, and magazines worldwide, including GEO, National Geographic Traveler, Vogue, and many others. Margo’s photographs have won numerous awards over the years, have been juried into countless exhibitions as well as appeared in solo ones, and are in private collections here and abroad, including The Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library at Radcliffe, Cambridge, MA and the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University, New Haven, CT.  Growing up in an artistic family that exposed her to the great museums and painters of the world has given Margo a unique insight into composition and the quality of light. The energy and passion for photography.
