Nancy Oliveri is an American fine art photographer born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1958. She studied black and white film photography and conceptual art at the Hartford Art School in the early 80’s and has lived and worked in New York City since. Her nine self published photobooks have been the recipients of multiple awards including the PX-3 Paris Prix de a Photograhie, The Tokyo International Foto Awards, the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards among others. She was a finalist in the prestigious Urban Street Awards 2021 in Trieste, Italy and has work on view at the Trieste Airport in Italy as part of the Photo Days Festival.She was recently selected for the New York Responds Exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York , 2021 and the Women Street Photographers Exhibit at PS 109 El Barrio, NYC in 2021. Her work is in private collections in the US and Europe.
