Angela Douglas Ramsey is a mother, teacher, student, and daughter. Angela spent a year living out of her car slowly migrating from Mexico to Washington visiting every famous surf spot and documenting her experience, she has lived in eastern Virginia her entire life. From an early age, she has had a passion for documenting life through the lens of a camera. She believes art resides in the fleeting moments of everyday life. She documents her family’s story and explores identity through self-portraits, she also focuses on environmental issues in her hometown of Norfolk, Va. Angela has been featured in multiple magazines and won numerous awards and exhibitions.
