Lukas Flippo a first-generation, low-income senior at Yale University from rural Mississippi. His work deals with tradition and legend in the rural south, and how small communities are adapting and reinventing themselves in the face of urbanization. His work has been seen in the New York Times, The Washington Post, and TIME, as well as a host of regional publications.
