I graduated from New York University summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I furthered my education at Columbia University, earning an MFA. I have served as an editor at various literary periodicals. My short story “The Housebreaker” won the Jane fiction prize and was published in the now-defunct magazine.

I have studied photography intensively at the International Center of Photography and the Santa Fe Workshops. My photographic art has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as the Blue Mountain Gallery in Chelsea, NYC, PhotoPlace in Middlebury, VT, SE Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis, the Dallas Center for Photography, the Sill House in Old Lyme, CT, the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Hilton Head, SC, and the Glasgow Gallery of Photography.

My first solo exhibition–What is Gone? What Returns?–was displayed at The Hendrik Hudson, New York, NY, from August 2022 to January 2023.

I shot both images with a Sony a7RII with a Sony FE 20mm G prime lens.

I created the archival pigment print with an Epson p900 on Canson Platine Fibre Rag.
