Scott Lowden is a photographer making commercial, documentary, and experiential work. As an extensive traveler, Lowden imbues his photographs with a sense of place: its history, specificity, and spirituality. His photography has been recognized through numerous awards at the Graphis Photography Annual as well as a PX3 Prix de la Photographie. He has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions across the US in venues such as Dragonfly (Hazleton, PA), The Frazer Center Atrium (Atlanta, GA), and South x Southeast Gallery (Molena, GA). He has self-published several books and mail art projects such as The Squirrel Census, Sentiment Del Lugar, Peru (sense of place, Peru), and Sentiment Del Lugar, Mexico (sense of place, Mexico).
