Fred Strobel is a photographer based in Atlanta. He loves photographing animals, having photographed more than 1000 dogs and 500 cats. Most of these have been for the non-kill Shelter Paws Atlanta. Fred am also a member of HeartsSpeak, an organization that is dedicated to using the arts such as photography to promote the adoption of animals. Fred, also, photographed the cats at Java Cats Cafe for 5 years, which was Atlanta’s first cat cafe. They are partners with Paws Atlanta and have adopted out over 1000 cats. Fred has also photographed fosters for Speak Rescue and Sanctuary, which specialized in Dogs with disabilities especially Double Merles, which have a significant chance of being deaf, blind or both deaf and blind. Fred has exhibited multiple times, including 9 times at the dog and pony (Puppy Love) show that is held at A Novel Experience Book Store in Zebulon. In 2022. he was awarded honorable mention, third place and first place in the dog and pony show.
