Maureen received her BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and throughout her career has been a filmmaker/editor/ Director for the US Navy, and later a documentary and fine art photographer. She is represented by PicFair and Alamy Agencies. Her work has been widely published and exhibited internationally. She was named one of the “Top Hot 100 Photographers” of 2022 by yourdailyphotograph.com and Duncan Miller Gallery, L.A.
Maureen works with all types of cameras and equipment, depending on the subject matter. She taught iPhone photography to corporations and other groups in Boulder, Colorado. In 2014 and 2017, she traveled quite a bit leading iPhone tours to Spain and Cuba. The image “The Big Yawn” was captured in Havana, Cuba in 2017, with the iPhone 6S and processed with the Snapseed app.
