Rooted in the South having lived in Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Kentucky. Photography is my creative outlet after decades of running a business with my partner serving small businesses in our local community south of Atlanta. Retirement a year ago prompted a move to Bardstown, KY, the bourbon capital of the world. New things to explore.

Statement:
Betty celebrated 96 a few months ago. In the rural Georgia town she grew up in, caramel cake is the norm for birthdays. Betty is full of life enjoying her family and friends even in her fragile state. Always dressed to the nines. Curious about everyone. It’s a blessing to witness her moving toward 100.
