For the last few years I’ve been exploring west-central Virginia with calotype materials in hand,

inspired in part by Greene and Teynard.  These were fruitful times for me, seeing this interesting world in a new light.

The area of Virginia is rich with quirk and surprise. Each time I’d find a disused structure, I’d often find something hinting at another use, another being, another soft drink.
