Bio: Pierre Hauser has been taking a photo every day for more than 15 years, primarily in New York City, where he shoots cityscapes, architecture, street scenes, puddles, and found abstracts. He has also completed two documentary projects, in Liberia and India, and done travel photography in Western Europe and the American West.
Statement: I find the southern Italian coast to be a particularly peaceful setting, probably because my childhood in Northern California instilled in me a love of expansive views and rugged cliffs–and maybe it’s in my DNA: my grandfather grew up in the Basilicata region.
