Statement:
With much of my portrait work, I’m often drawn to the in-between moments, the ones that exist just outside of direction, where emotion and energy reveal themselves naturally. In this portrait of Bailey, the simple act of arching toward the light became something more, a quiet gesture that speaks to curiosity, trust, and a sense of reaching beyond the frame. For me, the black and white image leans into form and contrast allowing the light itself to shape the story.
