My photographic practice is shaped by my interests in history and biography and based on my experiences, observations, and sense of spontaneity, curiosity, and intuition. Over the years, my work has been about people and places, sometimes close and intimate and sometimes more distant. I am also the author of two books and numerous articles and essays exploring the lives of early women photographers.
