Bio:
Mary Catherine Messner is a Chicago photographer who travels the World collecting visual stories. Her body of work celebrates everyday life and the frequently overlooked beauty of ordinary things.
Ms. Messner has had her images included in various gallery and online exhibitions. Most recently, images from her Uzbekistan series were selected to participate in group exhibitions at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, CA in 2024-25 and the Rome International Photography Festival in 2024.
Mary Catherine’s work has also been shown in high profile publications, including EyeShot Magazine and the 2019 Seeing in Sixes book curated by LensWork Publishing.
