Bio.
I was trained as an opera singer. If you add that particular bit of history to my love of photography you’ll understand my attraction to the theatrical and the dramatic. Later, my studies at the International Center for Photography helped direct me specifically to my love of street photography.
I’m honored that my work has appeared in multiple group and solo shows in galleries such as SxSE Gallery, PhotoPlace Gallery, Praxis Gallery, and Soho Photo Gallery. I’m also pleased that these exhibits were juried by photography notables such as Paula Tognarelli, Christa Dix, Elizabeth Avedon, Ann Jastrab, Gulnara Samoilova, Valerie Jardin, Harvey Stein and Amy Arbus.
In addition to these shows and honors, I’m proud to have earned a place in both the 2022 and 2023 Worldwide Photography Gala Awards’ Julia Margaret Cameron Awards where I was awarded Honorable Mentions in two categories, Street Portraits and Black and White.
I am also proud to have been featured twice in Women Street Photographers New York exhibits .
My work is held in private collections in the U.S. and Europe.
