Bio:
Syndi Pilar is a New York City–based photographer with an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. Working at the intersection of street photography, documentary, and photojournalism, her work explores the energy, rhythm, and complexity of crowds and gatherings in New York City and beyond. Her photographs have been featured in numerous group exhibitions, including ICP Concerned and several Women Street Photographers exhibitions in New York.
