BIO: As a humanitarian photographer, I use my lens to illuminate the lives of people and communities rendered invisible by economic systems, social hierarchies, and cultural narratives. My work is driven by a deep commitment to truth and dignity, striving to capture instances of grace and beauty that persist even amidst life’s most significant challenges.
I am drawn to the margins of public attention—to women performing unpaid labor, girls pressed into adult roles, and elders whose value is often overlooked. My focus is on where power is uneven and endurance is normalized; these are not moments of spectacle, but quiet, ongoing conditions that define entire lives.
I work slowly and with intention. Trust and deep listening matter more to me than access or speed. My practice is grounded in observation rather than intervention, resisting the urge to dramatize suffering. Instead of pity, I seek clarity. Through empathy and respect, I aim to form bonds that reveal the inner selves of my subjects. Ultimately, my images serve as an invitation to witness the threads that weave us together, emphasizing that while our circumstances differ, our internal experiences of resilience and humanity unite us all.
