Bio:
I began my photography journey probably before I even had a camera in hand. As a child, my family would spend weekends at the lake. My main forms of entertainment were either fishing, reading, or looking at the old magazines that my mother saved from the doctor’s office where she worked. Some of the magazines were photography magazines. They planted the seed. My first camera was a Brownie. From there, I have experienced so many changes – education, career, being a parent and grandparent, marriage, aging, and living alone. All of these have shaped who I am today and are reflected in my photography.
Statement:
This image was created early one morning in the Smoky Mountains with the iconic mist that is often present.
